Regional Overview
Asia is a largest continent which contains more than half of total world population but available sources are many times less then required by it. Now we are focus on South Asia which contains a fifth of the world's population and nearly half of the world's poor. They are distributed across populous countries, one of them is Pakistan. The main development challenges facing in this region are:

   1. Overpopulation

2. Lack of education especially the innovative education

3. High poverty levels in villages towns and even in cities

4. Non availability of health facilities

5. Agricultural downfall

6. Ineffective investment

7. Slow economic growth

8.
Unstable and unobvious democratic situation

9. Widespread institutional failure

10.Discontinuation of Government policies

Keeping in view the situation there is a dire need to adopt proper system to overcome the above mentioned series of problems. We think this region demands  special attention of the volunteers, financing agencies, Government and semi Government departments. The region may be upgraded by the joint venture of social scientists, funding institutions and volunteers belongs to different walks of life, having special packages for betterment of the public. We hope by adoption of above mentioned ways we will be able to bring quality in lives of deprived peoples.

 Brief Background
While facing series of problems, social activists decided to become united and to
organize themselves during the year 2001 in order to overcome the situation. Consequently they framed their alliance in shape of an NGO under the name of “
Rural Development Organization” in 2001. Further more they got it registered from Government of Pakistan, social welfare department under the law prevailing in the country i.e. voluntary social welfare agencies (registration and control ordinance 1961).  On first step, the NGO focused on the development for the people living inside District Toba Tek Singh. We have also planning for commencement of our projects in Punjab Province and in future its activities shall be expanded throughout the Pakistan.
